Turramurra Lookout Community Garden broke soil in 2010, and in just 6 years has evolved into a large and well established, completely organic garden. It’s design demonstrates various permaculture principles and is made up of both communal areas and 24 individual plots. As we swap, the garden will be buzzing with activity while members tend to their plots on working bee day. Come along to get your garden started for Spring, take home some fresh homegrown produce and exchange gardening tips with other members.
Please note that there is no parking or toilets on site. The garden is a short walk from Turramurra railway station or there is 2 hour parking in the Council car park in Gilroy Lane, located behind the shops facing the highway & Rohini St. You can then walk through one of the walkways to the highway & cross at the Bendigo Bank lights to the garden.
